We currently have a great opportunity for a Coding Auditor!
The Coding Auditor audits daily encounter reports in EMR and EPM. Reviews CPT and ICD 9 codes for appropriateness. Identifies information necessary to complete the billing process. Determines if the encounter will be held for the Physician to follow-up. Inputs all necessary demographics, chooses the appropriate insurances. Follows medical group rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards addressed in the Compliance Program. Responsible for carrying out the vision and quality commitment of the company.
