Full Job Description

Provides support to the Senior Accountant(s), and Controller in all accounting operations, financial reporting, and cash management systems.

 

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Conduct reconciliations, audits, and analysis and create, input, post and maintain journal entries.
  • Review and process the full cycle of A/P. Reconcile A/P subsidiary ledger. Maintain historical records for A/P. Update related A/P resources and access.
  • Process balance sheets, income statements, cash flow analysis.
  • Support budget process, and accounting close, and EFT processing.
  • Prepare tax, grant, and other documents, schedules, and reports.
  • Assist with month-end and other report processing.
  • May be asked to perform light administrative support such as: photocopying, filing, scanning, responding to vendor/ staff inquires regarding payment status.
  • Provide back-up and training to others.
  • Follow and enforce safety standards and other policies and procedures.
  • Indicate and create relevant financial reports and analysis. Maintain FOM binders, payments, coding and schedule.

Education & Certification:4-year college degree with an accounting emphasis required.

 

Experience & Background:3+ years of experience in general accounting functions (A/R, A/P, G/L, C/R, accounting reconciliations and analysis)
