The qualified Sr. Accounting Clerk - Store Inventory Control has at least 1 years of retail experience and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe's concept. A Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred. This role is based in our office in Monrovia, CA.

The Senior Accounting Clerk - Store Inventory Control is responsible for:

Reconciling store inventories and post selected store inventory results.
Providing store support for inventory related issues.
Performing inventory related journal entries and month-end accruals as needed.
Preparing monthly account reconciliations and analysis.
Streamlining processes, identify efficiency opportunities where available and make recommendations.
Providing assistance with tasks and backup when needed to other accounting crew members.
Working collaboratively with other departments.

The Senior Accounting Clerk - Store Inventory Control has:

1-2 years of experience working in a retail environment with experience doing General Ledger work preferred.
Excellent listening, written, verbal, communications, and interpersonal skills.
An eye for detail and staying organized.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
The ability to meet assigned deadlines and work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management.
