Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Clerk will have strong organizational skills and have an ability to accurately print, prepare, track and record cash flow with great attention to detail. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for printing and preparing all invoices received for payment, and organizing the payment-related documents of all creditors with no errors and in a timely manner. This position will keep the accounting department organized by ensuring all filing is completed accurately, timely, and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Print all vendor invoices in preparation for payment, and have knowledge of approved vendors
  • File, maintain and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports
  • Review and record invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing
  • Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices
  • Maintain a high-volume amount of vendor accounts, including verifying all information pertaining to an invoice and vendor profiles, while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Receive vendor invoices, via email, web portal, or US Mail
  • Enter invoices into the accounting system, internal software system, and Microsoft Excel
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between vendor invoices/statements and internal system
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data
  • Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
  • Perform other duties as required to support Accounting Department
  • Comply with all TrumpCard policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • 3+ years accounts payable or general accounting experience.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and recording skills
  • Detail-oriented, with strong data entry and organization skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; Ability to use technology, including computerized accounting systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
