Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an Epic Business Informatics Analyst: Resolute Hospital Billing to work remotely from one of our footprint states which are inclusive of WA, OR, MT and or CA.

We are seeking an Epic Business Informatics Analyst: Resolute Hospital Billing to provide excellence in supporting Providence St Joseph Health and affiliated organizations including:

  • Community Connect with Epic implementation and post-live support which includes, facilitation and in depth knowledge of the revenue cycle readiness programs, the Epic revenue cycle modules, and in depth revenue cycle operational workflows
  • Manages and supports complex projects with clients that vary in size, specialty and focus
  • Helping to establish best-practice workflows
  • In depth understanding of Epic revenue cycle and how it translates to end-user business requirements
  • Facilitates the optimization request process and ongoing maintenance workflow support for all community connect clients regarding non-clinical requests to enhance their Epic build
  • Ability to independently work with clients, multiple IS groups, and leadership to ensure strong support in and success of each organization's financial KPI’s and objectives

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with key business partners and other leaders throughout the IS organization and regions as well as Community Connect clients
  • Work collaboratively with clients to determine Revenue Cycle workflow requirements and provide guidance on standard Revenue Cycle workflows
  • Work with internal and external teams and a variety of customers to identify and support business related operational decisions that are effective and user-friendly, and support strategic initiatives, business and clinical outcomes
  • Coordinate and communicate with key stakeholders, such as operational leaders, application analysts, finance managers and Epic deployment teams to complete actions as assigned on team-level work plans
  • Use professional knowledge and judgment in making decisions or recommending a course of action, in collaboration with appropriate teams and or resources.et organizational objectives
  • Apply standards, concepts and theories related to operational discipline and provides solutions to moderate to highly complex problems
  • Prepare documentation and assist in documenting and defining customer-facing, standard workflows in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Assist project leadership as needed and acts as a resource for user groups; efficiently and effectively participates in enhancement and governance of Epic revenue cycle applications
  • Identify, manage, and communicate issues and risks, diplomatically escalating as appropriate through areas affected
  • Understand and translate the business functionality of the Epic system configuration into workflows and provides ongoing consulting support for revenue related hyperspace reports and for Epic enterprise optimization of the software and related integration elements

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Finance, Healthcare or related field or a combination of equivalent education, skills and relevant experience
  • 3 years' experience in a healthcare and/or IS setting

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 2 years of experience working in an Epic environment
  • Epic certification or proficiency in one of the primary applications this role is supporting within 90 days of hire
  • Credentialed Trainer in one of the primary applications this role is supporting
