Certified Medical Billing / Coder – Full Time

GENERAL SUMMARY

Retina Consultants of Orange County is a thriving Ophthalmology Office in Fullerton, CA. We are seeking a FULL-TIME Certified Medical Biller with 2-3 years of hands-on billing experience.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Create and code medical billing claims in PM system
• Work initial claims, denials, and appeals as necessary
• Work AR - Call insurance companies for claim status
• Payment Posting (Paper and ERA)
• Accounting, Filing & Assisting management team with daily office tasks
• Patient Statements
• Collections

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must have 2-3 years of hands-on billing experience
• Must have strong knowledge of processing payments (Copays, deductibles)
• Must have working knowledge of AR work, denials, rejections, appeals
• Professionalism, strong work ethic, and efficiency are very important
• Certified Medical Biller/Coder a plus
• Experience with MDSuite a plus
• Ophthalmology billing/coding/office experience a plus

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
