Job Overview:

A Medical / Hospital biller is responsible for handling and transferring patient information, submission of claims to insurance companies, and also ensures that the payments for medical services are received in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Verify coverage and eligibility for medical services.
• Communicate with insurance providers and patients.
• Review patient bills and correct any missing or inaccurate information.
• Use a billing software to prepare and transmit claims.
• Collect unpaid claims and clear up discrepancies
• EOB
• Terminology

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
