High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Front office receptionist with an understanding of health plans, insurance verification through Availity and their websites, and an understanding of local HMOs (PrimeCare and Upland Medical Group). Must be comfortable answering phones, scheduling appointments, and working with the EMR system Office Ally. Previous medical office background is very helpful. Spanish speaking is an asset, but not mandatory.. The position is not a temporary one. Looking for maturity, and dedication to work in a small, family practice office with a good reputation and a wonderful patient population!
