Bilingual in any language is a plus.
Dr Erb specializes in cosmetic eyelid and face surgery and cosmetic treatments such as injections of botox, fillers, kybella, IPL, PRP, RF, microneedling, and laser skin rejuvenation. She strives to provide the highest quality of care in a welcoming and attentive environment where each patient feels special. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have the highest level of friendliness, warmth, patience, empathy, and care. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and can engage people in a conversation.
No experience is necessary because this position is a personality fit. We will train you on all of the job related roles of medical assistant, surgical assistant, back office, front office, and patient care coordinator.
We are a small, 3 person, close knit team. There is no drama. Your primary duties will be medical assistant and surgical assistant. Your secondary duties will be front office and patient care coordinator. Thus you must be able to multitask.
We do not use EMR/EHR. We do not take insurance.
Duties:
Make patients feel comfortable and cared for.
Assist Dr Erb in surgery; you must be able to handle the sight of blood.
Assist Dr Erb in cosmetic procedures such as botox injections, filler injections.
Review pre and post operative instructions; answer patients’ questions.
Send in prescriptions to pharmacies.
Sterilize instruments.
Turnover, clean and stock rooms
Escort patients into exam rooms; offer a beverage or snack.
Answer phones.
Cheerfully answer inquiries about cosmetic and aesthetic procedures.
Schedule appointments on computer.
Greet patients.
Chart prepping and filing.
Computer savvy: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), YouTube, Facebook, Instagram.
Highest level of customer service: Friendly, cheerful, warm, outgoing, enthusiastic, caring, compassionate, understanding, patient, affable, and available.
For those who want to apply to graduate school for MD, DO, PA, Nursing, Optometry, or Pharmacy, there is additional training, advice, help with personal statements and interviews, and letter of recommendation available from Dr Erb. You must already have your undergraduate college degree. This is a full time position. You would work with Dr Erb for at least one year. Dr Erb’s medical assistants have been accepted to graduate schools for MD, DO x 2, PA, and Pharmacy.
