JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under general direction of the Revenue Integrity Manager, this position audits coding for assigned surgical CPT, modifiers and diagnosis codes. Audits coded charts for patients receiving services at the clients Med. Ctr. Responsible for review, audit, and remediation of any deviation from compliant coding, educating coding staff and other workforce members in coding, grouping, and proper documentation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Recent Auditing for PB – Multiple surgical specialties. Prefer 3+ years auditing experience.
- CCS, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT Certification.
- Epic experience
