Medical Biller/Coder Duties :

• Make sure codes are exact and sequenced properly in accordance with government and insurance regulations
• Knowledge of PPO/HMO insurances
• Prepare CPT and diagnosis codes for services rendered
• Review medical records and correctly assign codes to diagnoses and procedures
• Make sure all claims are submitted to the insurance carriers in a timely manner
• Review and appeal of rejected claims
• Communicate with insurance companies about coding errors and dispute

Medical Coder/Biller qualifications and skills:

• Completion of a certification program in medical billing/coding or work experience equivalent
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT codes
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Familiarity with COVID coding

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
Weekly COVID tests are performed on site.

Experience:

• medical billing: 1 year (Preferred)
