Job Summary:
Outsource Medical Billing is looking for a Medical Biller to join our company! We manage the medical billing for many local doctors in the San Gabriel Valley and more.
We are looking for candidates who will be responsible for maintaining the clinic billing of patients, checking insurance eligibility, posting and reviewing insurance claims, answering phones and communicating to third party insurance companies. Hourly pay is dependent on amount of medical billing experience of applicant.
Responsibilities:
- Verify patient eligibility with insurance as needed, maintaining an open line of communication with all insurance carriers including follow-up, denials, and appeals
- Bill, post, review, and analyze superbills from providers to ensure accuracy in codes as per billing guidelines
- Perform general clerical duties: data entry, file preparation, scanning and faxing, mailing patient statements, and answering phone calls
- Assist patients with questions concerning their account
- Comply with all HIPPA laws to protect patient confidentiality
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Excellent at communication and learning new skills
- General knowledge of Medical Billing
- Computer literate (Required)
- Knowledge in insurance verification & eligibility (Preferred)
- Familiarity with Medisoft (Preferred)
- Experience in Medical Billing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Bilingual in Chinese & English (Preferred)
- Must have reliable transportation (Required)

Pay: Up to $27.00 per hour
