Full-time 40 hrs/week Physician Medical Billing and Collections Specialist.

Only exp. candidates need apply. Office located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

MUST HAVE minimum of 3 yrs. work experience physician medical coding (basic CPT, E&M, modifiers and ICD-10).

Must have strong knowledge of insurance plans, PPO, CA HMO, Medicare and Medi-cal. Must also have knowledge of basic modifiers, appeals, disputes and CA Dept of Managed Care Provider Complaint process.

Claims follow-up experience required Including appeals/provider disputes, investigate to determine claim status

• Reviewing physician notes & coding diagnosis
• Verify Insurance (HMO, PPO, Medicare, Medi-Cal, Tricare West, Veterans CCN, etc)
• Charge entry (CPT and E&M knowledge)
• Posting insurance payments
• Claims Follow up (Investigate claim status, submit appeals/disputes)

Word, Excel, Outlook and OneDrive experience.
