A Medical Group in the San Gabriel Valley is looking for a medical professional to join the team. This growing company is looking for a Medical Insurance Collections Specialist. The Medical Insurance Collections Specialist will used to provide support in resolving unpaid and denied claims to ensure that claims are paid. The Medical Insurance Collections Specialist must have at least 2 years of experience.
Main Duties Include:
Work with the revenue cycle team to resolve payer rejections and denials through the appeals process as required by each payer
Follow up with insurance companies regarding the status of outstanding claims and necessary steps for resolution
Identify payment and denial trends
Ensure complete and accurate reimbursement for medical claims
Provide customer service to patients through phone and email communications
Compose correspondence including claim forms, appeals, and notifications to applicable parties.
