LCHC is seeking a Dynamic, Friendly, Front/Back Office Medical Assistant. We seek Excellence, Integrity & Commitment to the provision of effective patient care.

Job Description:

• Welcoming and greeting all patients
• Answering phones, filing, assisting with patient check-in, paperwork
• Scheduling of patients
• Use of EMR
• Prepare Patients for Medical Providers
• Measure and record vital signs, electrocardiograms, visual tests, glucose tests, hemoglobin tests among others
• Assisting the Physician with exams and minor surgeries
• Venipuncture and collection of laboratory samples and prepare them for the courier.
• Maintain an environment conducive to the comfort and confidentiality of the patient environment.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Successfully completed and graduated from a Medical Assistant Program
• Venipuncture Certification or equivalent
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Demonstration of proper phone etiquette
• Ability to Multi Task
• Willingness and Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a variety of situations
• Able to work both independently and as a Member of our Team.
• Two years experience in a similar position.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.75 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
