Job Posting: Accounts Payable Clerk

Reports to the Accounting Supervisor

Position Requirements:

- Reviews incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Verify and match invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts, ensuring all supporting documentation is in order.

- Resolves discrepancies or issues with vendors promptly and communicate effectively with internal departments to facilitate problem resolution.

- Managing the printing of accounts payable checks and obtain necessary signatures in a timely manner.

- Handles the processing of employee expense check requests.

- Reconciles Bank Deposit to Cash Application.

- Maintains accurate records of check distribution and monitor outstanding payments to ensure timely settlement of obligations.

- Serves as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, responding promptly and professionally to address any concerns or discrepancies.

- May support Accounts Receivable as needed.

- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with department employees, coworkers, customers, and other personnel throughout the company.

Education, Skills and Knowledge Required:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy, fast-paced AP processing

- Experience with Accounts Payable preferred

- Associates degree with applicable coursework preferred

- Experience in an ERP environment (Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred)

- Advanced knowledge of Excel (formulas including sub-total, pivot tables & V- lookup)

- Proficient computer skills: Word, Outlook

- Above average in the following:

a) Ability to analyze and interpret data

b) Methodical and logical approach to work

- Employee training and development experience

- Ability to multi-task with diligence and a sense of urgency
