Our Part-Time Intake / AOD Counselor is responsible for delivering a pre-set professional individual and group counseling program for assigned clients in compliance with company policies and facility and correctional healthcare directives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Review client health information.
  • Maintain client and staff confidentiality.
  • Provide personal and social adjustment counseling on an individual and group basis in coordination with Administration and other facility programs.
  • Monitor client progress. Coordinates problem cases and point out areas in which guidance and development techniques can be improved. Maintain documentation and records.
  • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions.
  • Conduct education and process groups.
  • Complete initial client screenings and intakes.
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding client's concerns and needs.

Who You Are:

  • Certified AOD Counselor to facilitate DUI Education groups.
  • State Certified Professional (Meet all Title 9 requirements)
  • Experienced and passionate about working with substance abuse clients or education in substance abuse.
  • Excellent Communicator – Your interpersonal skills and writing are unmatched
  • Passionate - You are customer-focused and have passion for helping people
  • Problem Solver - Enjoy solving problems, you are a go to person in your office
  • Tech Savvy - Proficient using a computer and MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
