Seeking a friendly, organized and motivated MA for a fast paced Urgent Care. Full-time position.
*Hourly rate will be based on the level of experience. Urgent Care or back office experience is a plus.
Responsibilities and Duties
Excellent customer service skills are a must.
· Greet patients warmly and kindly on the phone and in person, make them feel welcome.
· Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
· Able to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
· Demonstrate compassion to patients.
· Ability to calm upset patients and resolve their issues.
· Perform other assigned duties or those within the scope of an MA.
· Place patients in exam rooms. Take vital signs and performs all ancillary tests appropriate to skill level.
· Assist and set up providers during examination, treatment, and procedures
· Apply bandages, dressings, and splints as ordered by the medical provider.
· Stock rooms with required supplies
· Keep equipment operating
· Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment
· Conduct business in a service-oriented manner that is attentive, cooperative, sensitive, respectful and kind with dealing with patients, visitors, the public and all colleagues
· Operate and maintain all equipment in or pertaining to the clinical areas for daily use, safekeeping, and functionality
· Keep exam rooms between patients and other common areas clean.
Qualifications
MA Certification (Required).
