New 10% salary differential above base hourly rateThe County of Riverside’s - Riverside University Health System - Behavioral Health Department is recruiting for a Behavioral Health Services Supervisor to supervise clinicians in the Crisis Support System of Care program in Perris.These are field based teams consisting of Clinical Therapists, Behavioral Health Specialist II and III and Peer Support Specialist working collaboratively with multiple community stakeholder including Law Enforcement & Emergency Department Personnel to decrease the need for inpatient hospitalizations. The Mobile Response and Treatment Team also provide intensive outreach and follow up. The teams are able to work with individuals from all age groups The incumbent for this position will supervise a multi-disciplined cadre of mental health staff primarily field based. As such, the incumbent will be responsible for all facets of supervision: planning, operation, control, and evaluation; recommending and implementing changes in program, policy, and procedures as necessary. They will oversee the daily activities of field based teams consisting of several therapists, clerical staff, peer specialists, and behavioral health specialists. Additionally, the incumbent will assist in the development and monitoring of the clinics budget for various programs and will provide statistical reports on performance for the various programs offered by the clinic. Finally, as a supervisor, the incumbent will direct workload, evaluate employees assess and manage staffing levelsThe schedule for this position will be a 9/80 schedule Tuesday through Saturday; every other Saturday off or a 4/10 schedule Wed-Sat.Meet the Team!RUHS-Behavioral Health

1. Supervisors are responsible for hiring, training and managing employees in the crisis support system of care. 2. Crisis supervisors oversee all program operations administratively and clinically.3. Supervisors address HR issues.4. Supervisors participate in program development.5. Supervisors actively develop their staffs’ knowledge and skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Three years of post-license professional experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting providing direct client services which must have included: client assessment and evaluation, development and implementation of appropriate treatment plans, providing psychotherapy or behavioral health counseling, and providing indirect services involving information, consultation, and educational services to staff and community.License: Possession of a valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Professional Clinical Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist issued by the California State Board of Behavioral Science Examiners.Candidates recruited from out-of-state must possess an out-of-state license to practice in one of the above stated options. Individuals hired under this option shall obtain their license to practice issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences within three years of date of hire. During the interim three years, the incumbent shall be eligible for a Mental Health Professional Licensing Waiver Request approved by the State of California Health and Human Services Agency.Candidates qualifying with the Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor option must have completed additional education and training as defined below: 1) Six semester units or nine quarter units specifically focused on the theory and application of marriage and family therapy, OR a named specialization or emphasis area on the qualifying degree in marriage and family therapy, marital and family therapy, marriage, family, and child counseling, or couple and family therapy;2) No less than 500 hours of documented supervised experience working directly with couples, families, or children; and3) A minimum of six hours of continuing education specific to marriage and family therapy, completed in each license renewal cycle.

Condition of Employment In accordance with the California Department of Public Health Order dated August 5, 2021, and amended December 22, 2021, health care facility workers who work in indoor settings where care is provided to patients or where patients have access for any purpose must be vaccinated against COVID-19 as follows: first dose of a one-dose regimen or second dose of a two-dose regimen, by September 30, 2021. Effective March 1, 2022, all healthcare facility workers must have their booster, obtain the booster within 15 days of becoming eligible for one, or a declination form on file for the booster. Consideration may be given to candidates who are in the process of completing their vaccination regimen. The Order allows for workers to be exempt from the vaccination requirements by providing the facility with a declination form signed by the individual stating either of the following: (1) the worker is declining vaccination based on Religious Beliefs; or (2) the worker is excused from receiving any COVID-19 vaccine due to Qualifying Medical Reasons. Workers who are exempted from the vaccination requirements must observe all other infection control requirements, including face coverings and regular COVID testing at the frequency required by their work site. A requirement of employment is to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or a completed COVID-19 Vaccination Declination form (filled out by the candidate and their medical provider as appropriate), during the pre-employment process.
