The Bilingual Pharmacy Clerk is responsible for increasing customer satisfaction and retention by providing members, customers, patients, and providers with accurate, consistent, timely, and meaningful information. The Pharmacy Clerk will provide general customer service, complete clerical/administrative tasks, and support customer service over the phones. This position is based in Brea, CA with hours of Monday- Friday 8:30am-5pm.

About the Role:

• Professionally respond to inbound and outbound calls to confirm patient contact information, schedule deliveries for medications, case managers, providers, insurance companies, etc.
• Order and maintain other/miscellaneous pharmacy supplies
• Review customer profiles and coordinate shipment
• Professionally respond to inquiries from patients, providers, and other external/internal parties
• Type prescription labels and enter prescription information into record system
• Verify/re-verify insurance benefits
• Consistently maintain the privacy and confidentiality of information and protect the assets of the organization
• Initiate contact with the appropriate personnel to obtain information relevant to the inquiry/concern as needed
• Promote, ensure, and provide excellent customer service by demonstrating compassion, collaboration, resourcefulness and extraordinary patient care
• Accurately document communications and follow established procedures to meet/exceed customer, client, partner, and team member needs
• Support and assist the team in understanding and appreciating the needs of our patients, partners, and team members, and achieving departmental and company-wide goals
• Perform other duties as assigned
