Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team who is experienced in Quickbooks Online specifically who is experienced with general ledgers. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Duties:
- Manage and maintain the general ledger
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations
- Conduct account analysis and provide recommendations for improvements
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and support documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks to record and process financial transactions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software QuickBooks
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in public accounting is a plus
Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated.
