We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including urgent care, clinics, and hospitals. This position requires a compassionate individual who is capable of handling both clinical and administrative tasks efficiently while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Perform basic life support as needed and maintain current certification.
  • Manage patient intake, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
  • Support medical administrative functions such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
  • Prepare patients for X-Ray procedures and assist with imaging as required.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in settings such as Level II Trauma Centers and Emergency Medicine departments.
  • Provide care in various environments, including inpatient units, PICU, and hospital medicine.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Skills

  • Proficiency in urgent care practices and emergency medicine protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of medical administrative support functions.
  • Experience working in clinical settings such as hospitals or outpatient clinics.
  • Familiarity with X-Ray procedures and equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, particularly in trauma or emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.33 - $22.27 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
