Job Title: Outpatient Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Job Description:

As an outpatient compounding pharmacy technician, you will be responsible for preparing and compounding medications based on prescriptions and patient needs. You will assist the pharmacist in verifying, packaging, and labeling medications while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Excellent customer service skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compound medications according to prescriptions and standard operating procedures.
• Perform quality checks and verifications of compounded medications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns in a professional manner.
• Handle incoming phone calls, providing accurate information and assistance to patients and healthcare providers.
• Assist the pharmacist in managing inventory and ensuring medication availability.
• Record and maintain documentation related to medication compounding.

Requirements:

• Experience as a pharmacy technician preferred.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English communication.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle phone inquiries effectively.
• Knowledge of compounding regulations and standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
