We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Technician Lead to oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy technicians. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient workflow, maintain high standards of patient care, and support the pharmacy team in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Team Leadership & Management:

* Supervise and coordinate the activities of pharmacy technicians.

* Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to the pharmacy technician team.

* Conduct performance evaluations and assist in the development of professional growth plans.

* Ensure proper staffing levels and manage scheduling for the pharmacy technicians.

* Operations Management:

* Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

* Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately and in a timely manner.

* Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceutical supplies.

* Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.

* Quality Assurance:

* Monitor the accuracy of prescription filling and dispensing processes.

* Implement quality control measures to reduce errors and improve efficiency.

* Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.

* Address and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies.

* Customer Service:

* Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.

* Assist in counseling patients on the proper use of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.

* Ensure a clean, organized, and customer-friendly pharmacy environment.

* Collaboration:

* Work closely with pharmacists to ensure seamless workflow and high-quality patient care.

* Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

* Participate in staff meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

* Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program preferred.

* Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or equivalent.

* Experience:

* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

* At least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role is preferred.

* Skills:

* Strong leadership and team management abilities.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* In-depth knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.

* Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information:

* Work Environment:

* This position requires working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

* May involve occasional weekend or evening shifts based on operational needs.

* Physical Requirements:

* Ability to stand for extended periods.

* Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
