Job Description

Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for a Certified Phlebotomy Technician in Santa Ana, California.

Specialty: Acute Care

Location: Santa Ana, California

Facility type: Acute Care Hospital

Pay rate: $24/hr.

Contract Length: 36 weeks

Shift/Hours: 5 X 8 Days

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences or Associate Degree
• Current CA Certified Phlebotomy Technician license
• BCLS required
• 2-12 months' previous experience in an Acute care facility laboratory preferred with demonstrated ability to perform phlebotomy on all age groups
• Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures preferred
• experience with computer based systems is preferred
• Full command of the English language (verbal and written)
• Possesses physical ability and perceptive acuity, i.e., visual, hearing, and sensory to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care
