Global Health Care Group is looking for a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) to provide on-site services for the inmates housed at the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, located at the Federal Correctional Institution in Terminal island, California.
Available Position: Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
Work to be performed at: Phlebotomy Services will be performed in the Health Service Department at the Federal Correctional Institution, 1299 Seaside Avenue, Terminal Island, California, 90731.
These services will be rendered on-site for the inmate population incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Terminal Island located in San Pedro, California.
Facility Information: The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Terminal Island, California, is a low security facility housing male inmates who are being held under the authority of the Federal Government by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. FCI Terminal Island is located at the entrance to the Los Angeles Harbor, between San Pedro and Long Beach off Harbor Freeway (110 South) at the Terminal Island exit.
Work Schedule: The work schedule shall not exceed 30 hours per week. The weekly schedule will normally consist of six, (1) hours per day, Monday through Friday (except Federal holidays). Hours shall be scheduled between the hours of 5:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. These hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of the institution. The contractor shall not normally exceed 30 hours per week. The COR shall be responsible for schedule times
Period of Performance: Five (5) years, renewed on an annual basis at the sole discretion of the facility.
Services include but are not limited to: Provide phlebotomist services for inmates at a Federal Correctional Institution.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
The phlebotomist shall possess specialty training from an approved accredited program. A certification of completion is strongly recommended. The phlebotomist shall be certified in Cardio‐Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in accordance with the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association and have a minimum of two (2) years of experience providing phlebotomist services.
