Healthcare Pharmacy is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our growing compounding laboratory team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about precision, quality, organization, and patient care.

There will be training provided for our great technicians who want to grow their capabilities and challenge themselves with something new.

This role is ideal for a technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the importance of accuracy and compliance, and can maintain strong time management while preparing high-quality compounded medications.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and compound non-sterile medications accurately and efficiently
  • Follow USP guidelines, pharmacy protocols, and safety procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the compounding lab
  • Accurately weigh, measure, mix, and package formulations
  • Maintain proper documentation and compounding logs
  • Assist with inventory management and ingredient organization
  • Ensure quality control and attention to detail in every preparation
  • Work closely with pharmacists and team members to maintain workflow efficiency
  • Maintain proper handling and storage of chemicals and ingredients
  • Prioritize tasks effectively in a high-volume environment

Qualifications

  • Previous compounding pharmacy experience preferred
  • Active Pharmacy Technician license/certification required
  • Strong understanding of compounding procedures and lab practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
  • Strong communication skills
