Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care
- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain accurate patient records
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
- Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or other medical coding systems to update patient information and treatment plans
Skills:
- Valid dental hygienist license in [state]
