Our work environment includes:
Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Assess patients' oral health and provide oral hygiene instructions
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix, Epic, Eaglesoft, or other dental practice management systems
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a dental hygienist
- Proficiency in using Dentrix, Epic, Eaglesoft, or similar dental practice management systems
- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
