Job Purpose: The DME Accounting Supervisor/Lead will supervise the finance team, and will be responsible for Revenue cycle Management, ARD, Month end close, Confirming sales orders, Finance auditing, and other misc projects.
Responsibilities
1. Revenue Cycle Management
a. Assigning claims
b. Task upkeep
c. Review claim adjustments
d. Mail compplus claims
2. ARD Management
a. Chargebacks
b. Dashboard Review
i. Assign to staff and monitor
c. Collections Review / Pre-Collections
- Medicare collections
- TFL Collections
3. Month End Close
a. Various adhoc reports completed by 10th
4. Sales Orders & Pick ups
a. Closing Sales Orders-(Medicare, DME, Pumps)
b. Assist with Medicare orders (Review documents)
c. Closing escalated pick up tickets
d. Addresses/reviews/fixes issues with STOP/HOLDS
5. Staff Management
a. Manage finance team (team of 3)
b. Participants in new hire interviews (Finance team)
c. Participates / Attends bI-weekly Supervisor meetings
6. General Staff Support
a. Billing & Insurance questions-Help with all AR issues
7. Price Imports
8. Finance Audit Management
a. Finance Log- RC audit
b. WIP Audit
c. Misc emails
d. WIP and Tasks Audit
9. Miscellaneous Duties
a. Reporting
b. Handle escalated calls
c. Process incoming mail
d. Special Projects / system clean up
Qualifications and Education Requirements
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Experience working Microsoft with Excel and Word.
● High-energy, self-motivated, and performance-driven
● Strong Organizational skills, attention to details
● Working knowledge of the insurance industry and medical terminology
● Knowledge of Excel and Word
● Ability to work in a team environment.
