Full Job Description
We are a fast growing addiction treatment center looking for energetic, dedicated and inspiring individuals to join our team.
*Drug and Alcohol Counselors should have:
Counseling experience in the residential setting.
Experience facilitating groups for an average of 6 clients. Understanding of HIPAA.
Knowledge of recovery and 12 step programs.
A desire to help people change their lives.
Excellent communication skills.
The ability to take direction and follow through will all assigned tasks.
Willingness to learn and grow both personally and professionally.
Have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
*Duties and Responsibilities:
One on One counseling sessions and treatment plans.
Assessments done thoroughly and in a timely manner.
Work directly with the Program Director to ensure that the clients are stable, comfortable and progressing through their detox and treatment appropriately.
Facilitate and document groups properly maintaining the safety and integrity of the program at all times.
Encouraging clients to engage in their treatment and follow group and house rules.
Monitor the daily chores and ensure their completion.

Salary: Based on Experience
Required Education: CADC or in school pursuing CADC
Required experience: Substance Abuse treatment: 1 year - KIPU knowledge preferred
