Job Title: Drug and Alcohol Processing Specialist (Remote Work Opportunity)

Department: Processing

Location: Tustin, CA

Reports To: Processing Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary:
Performs tasks in the data processing department, including but not limited to sorting and processing chain of custody forms, drug test results, and breath alcohol tests; Communicates with various departments across the company to ensure receipt of important documents in sorting folders; Assists with answering phones, maintaining the upmost professionalism to clients and vendors; Updates protocols and maintains spreadsheets and documents using Microsoft Office 360; other duties as assigned.

Responsibility

80% Responsible for reviewing and processing documents in sorting folders with speed and accuracy. Communicates with various departments and ensures receipt of documents to proper individuals; scans and faxes documents into the sorting folder for processing using programs like Adobe PDF and Microsoft Office Suite. Communicates with appropriate parties to inform of test result issues and document errors.

20% Answers phones and transfers calls to the appropriate party, maintaining professionalism and phone etiquette. Updates protocols, attends monthly processing meetings, and other duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements:
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent Customer Service practices, while speaking clearly when providing information
  • Ability to navigate computer applications while speaking with clients and applicants
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • An active listener that demonstrates a friendly, upbeat disposition working with others
Preferred Requirements:
Bilingual (Spanish) helpful, but not required

Required Education or equivalent years of experience:
High school diploma and

Related Associate degree and/or 1 (one) year of customer service experience preferred
