Title: Front and Back Office Medical Assistant for Infectious Diseases

We are seeking a Front and Back Office Medical Assistant to join our team! You will assist in the Infectious Disease practice at our Long Beach, CA. location.

FRONT OFFICE

• Welcome patients, process patient intake forms and schedule appointment
• Complete full cycle patient registration which include: collecting insurance and identification documents, verifying patient eligibility, communicating fees, and collecting payments

BACK OFFICE

• Room and take patient vitals
• Review medical history
• Assist the provider with patient care
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two years Medical Assistant experience
• Medical Assistant certificate
• Experience with infectious diseases preferred.
• Experience with blood draws, injections, authorizations, referrals, computers, EMR, and electronic RX.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
