Job Summary and Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting with patient care including taking vital signs, obtaining history and chief complaint; assisting with medical procedures, providing patient education on treatment plans and medication, answering phones, taking accurate messages, obtaining prior authorizations for procedures and medications, checking in patients, collecting copays, verifying insurance eligibility and benefit information and other office duties as specified by the practice manager.
