We are looking for a Front/Back Office Per Diem Floater. Someone who likes working with people, who is organized and requires little direction to do their job, has open availability, can work overnight and weekend shifts and is dependable, self-motivated, and can multi-task.

A plus if you are Bi-lingual (English/Spanish).

This is an exceptional opportunity for a new graduate or seasoned Medical Assistant. This position is Per Diem, meaning your schedule and hours will fluctuate depending on the needs of the clinic.

Responsible for assisting clinicians in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the physician. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides front and back office support.
  • Greets patients in a friendly, service oriented manner in compliance with COMP medical practice protocols and workflows.
  • Oversees patient check in by ensuring medical records/charts have been pulled, patient data is current, appropriate paperwork is in order, and charts are reviewed/prepared.
  • Interviews patient measures vital signs and records reason for the visit.
  • Explains procedures performs treatments and administers prescribed medication.
  • Oversees patient check out by scheduling follow up appointments, collecting pertinent information for their follow-ups if applicable, ensuring paperwork is complete.
  • Schedules and confirms the patient's appointments.
  • This is a summary of a day to day. Other duties as needed.

Requires a high school diploma minimum of one year of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Medical Assistant certification from an accredited school of training.

We supply proper PPE to all of our staff, including mask, face shield, cleaning supplies, and sanitizer. We have a program in place to ensure the safety of our staff. Proof of vaccine is required, unless medical or religious exemption is requested.

  • Riverside, CA 92506: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

  • Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Medical Assistant Diploma? (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
