Front Desk / Patient Scheduler
Responsible for scheduling, making and answering phone calls, checking-in patients, verifying insurance and communicating issues to our on-site radiologist. We are looking for someone who is confident working independently as well as part of the Valley team. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced medical environment while always remaining objective and patient driven. Previous scheduling experience is REQUIRED. Flexibility and knowledge of all medical specialties STRONGLY PREFERRED.
Reports To: Office Administrator or his/her designee
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, some evenings and/or weekends
Locations: Stockton Pine St. Office
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
3 years of medical office experience with exposure to multi-line phone systems, insurance verification, and scheduling systems
5 years experience in customer service and patient care
