Full Job Description

Plastic Surgery Practice, seeking a Full-Time Front Desk Coordinator. The Front Desk Coordinator provides exceptional and outstanding customer service to all patients, while effectively maintaining front desk procedures, including but not limited to, greeting patients with an energetic and friendly personality, managing the patient check-in and check-out processes, managing the daily functions of the front office, answering multiple phone lines, scheduling patient appointments, assist in managing in-clinic patient flow, while delivering a 5-star patient experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledge and greet all patients immediately with a warm and welcoming smile
  • Maintain patient confidentiality, including HIPAA and practice specific compliance guidelines
  • Answer multi-line phone system
  • Schedule patient appointments and surgeries
  • Responsible for accurate invoicing and payment collection of services and surgeries
  • Educate patients on pre and post surgical care
  • Confirm patient appointments daily
  • Create daily payment collection reports and review merchant account reports
  • Assist providers and staff with patient flow
  • Assist with treatment room turnover/setup when needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of front desk and reception area
  • Maintain professional appearance at all times
  • Maintain a full understanding of services and products to help patients achieve their cosmetic goals

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in an Aesthetic practice (Medical Spa, Plastic surgeon, Dermatology) strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service
  • Familiar with using a multi-line phone system
  • Strong knowledge of EMR
  • Possess excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and overcome stressful patient situations
  • Ability to learn products and services quickly
  • Excellent communication and phone skills
  • Ability to deal with patients in a high stress environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Paid time off
