Opening for a front office medical assistant at a gastroenterologist office. Seeking a candidate comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented clinical environment. Must be highly detail-oriented.

Overview:Responsible for providing patient-oriented service in a front office setting; performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of patient care, including:

• Calling patients for appointment reminders
• Greeting and checking in patients
• Collecting patient co-pays and insurance payments
• Processing paperwork
• Scheduling follow up and procedure appointments
• Other clerical duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work out of Rancho Cucamonga and Chino locations as needed. Schedule varies by week.
• Experience in medical office setting.
• Must be comfortable interacting with patients and have a cheerful disposition.
• Must be organized and capable of controlling a busy office environment and dealing with different patients.
• Fluent in Spanish.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
