San Diego's premier comprehensive vascular treatment center, La Jolla Vein & Vascular is opening a new location in North County (Vista). We are excited to introduce our newly renovated start-of-the-art facility and expertise to North County residents.

We are looking for someone to join our team, who shares the passion of helping people and being part of a team that does amazing things. Since this is a new outpatient facility, it is a great opportunity for a Independently motivated, self-starter who is looking to expand their career and grow with our company!
Position will be Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pmWe are looking to hire with a start date of April 17th, in our La Jolla office for training, and officially move to our New Vista Office on May 1st.

Our newly renovated, state-of-the-art facility will offer the following vascular Interventional radiology services, including, Ultrasound Diagnostics/ Vascular Lab, Treatment of Venous Insufficiency, Varicose Veins and Venous Leg Ulcers, Treatment of Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD), Treatment of other Vascular Disorders of the legs, feet and pelvis

Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in daily operations of the clinic to include but not limited to the following tasks:

Perform opening & closing duties of the clinic, including locking and unlocking the doors and ensuring the office to ready for patients
Answer Multiline phone system
Register New Patients, create files, and prepare insurance verification and pre authorizations
Create and submit pre authorizations for patients and contacting patients when authorizations are approved, partially denied or denied
Scanning, documents to patient files
Collect payments from patients as needed for procedures
Performing basic inventory ordering, working with lead RN, on inventory system for treatments being performed that week and communicating when shipments arrive
Assist the La Jolla office with various tasks as needed (scheduling, insurance authorizations etc)

Qualifications:
This position requires an experienced Front Office Assistant with a minimum of 1 year front office experience, preferably in interventional radiology, vascular surgery, or surgical services
Excellent communication skills
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Access
Knowledge and ability to navigate EMR systems (we use NextGen)
Manage Medical Registration
Organization and time management- able to manage variety of tasks effectively, multitasking

Demonstrated ability to maintain absolute confidentiality concerning patient information

Physical requirements:Physical requirements can vary. In general, the position requires the following physical activities:
Ability to lift a minimum of 5 pounds to a maximum of 35 pounds unassisted
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
