The Front Office Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing front and back office clinical duties.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains clinic services coordinating patients, procedures, controlling correspondence, answering phones, checking in patients, filing, maintaining/submitting supply requisitions, and other functions.
  • Supports clinic operations.
  • EMR Charting
  • Maintain patient records confidentially.
  • Participate in mandatory staff meetings as needed.
  • Collect co-payments, deductibles, and reconcile daily cash report.
  • Interview patients for the purpose of gathering health history and current medications.
  • Participate in mandatory staff meetings as needed.
  • Injections, as necessary.
  • Assist with inventory organization and stocking of exam rooms and labs.
  • Promote TOI’s culture of exceptional behavioral standards for customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively with a wide range of people
  • Dependable
  • Maintain a cooperative work environment to foster our practice mission and values and to meet goals
  • Proficient with MS Office

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bilingual in Spanish required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years front office experience
  • Medical Assistant Certificate or relevant experience
