Citrus Counseling Services (CCS) is a registered non-profit mental health agency that has been providing counseling and mental health services throughout the Inland Empire since 1978. We have over 50 employees that offer a wide range of services and programs. In addition to our general mental health program, we have specialized programs for young children, at-risk youth, family reunification support, military veterans and their family, faith-based support, and a Trauma Recovery Center.

 


CCS is looking for a friendly and welcoming Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist is responsible for providing a positive and professional experience for our clients visiting the clinic. The receptionist performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of client care, including greeting and checking in clients, answering phones, collecting co-payments, processing paperwork, and offering administrative support across the organization.

 


Essential Job Responsibilities:


  • Check in clients for appointments
  • Answer and route incoming calls
  • Collect payments/co-pays from clients for services
  • Distribute client forms and review them to ensure required information is completed accurately
  • Schedule appointments in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
  • Ensure that the waiting room environment remains quiet, calm, and welcoming
  • Manage inventory of necessary office supplies and coordinate reordering
  • Maintain office spaces, kitchens, and waiting areas in a clean and organized manner
  • Uphold the positive reputation of our office by always treating visitors in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner.
  • Other general office duties as needed and assigned

 

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Office experience in a healthcare setting
  • Basic understanding of HIPAA
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all client records and information
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
