Working under the direct supervision of a CLS, operates automated and semi-automated instruments, performs preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting. May be required to perform clerical duties in Blood Bank and Lab Administration, as needed. Will organize and process workflow to insure TAT for patient lab results consistent with established standard. Will provide back up for specimen processing and phlebotomy staff as needed. Demonstrates cooperation and teamwork with all laboratory staff, shifts and sections to ensure efficient operation of the department.
