Pharmacy Technician
Responsibilities and Duties - Pharmacy Technician
- Supervising workflow
- Data entry and billing for prescriptions
- Filling prescriptions
- Assistance with obtaining information for prior authorizations for insurance and physicians
- Maintaining cleanliness of pharmacy
- Handling front register and aiding customers with front end sales
- Welcoming patients and customer service on phone and in-person
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficient in English and bilingual with Spanish
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
