What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include a variety of administrative and clinical support tasks, focused on ensuring the smooth delivery of our wound care services:

  • Administrative Support: Accurately manage data entry and maintain detailed patient and office records, specifically supporting wound care documentation.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate and manage appointments for wound care patients, ensuring timely follow-ups and continuous care.
  • Communication Management: Handle calls and emails, ensuring prompt communication between patients, and providers.
  • Wound Care Coordination: Assist in organizing wound care treatment schedules, ensuring patients receive the appropriate care in a timely manner while supporting providers with administrative needs.
  • Documentation Preparation: Prepare, organize, and distribute progress reports related to wound care for referral entities, ancillary services, and related healthcare organizations.
  • Provider Support: Assist wound care providers in the field using the OhMD support app, offering real-time administrative support during and in-between patient visits.
  • Patient Relations: Confirm wound care appointments, address patient concerns, and ensure their care journey is smooth and well-coordinated.

Qualifications:

  • LVN License (California preferred)
  • Proficient in English and Spanish (required)
  • Prior experience in wound care or a similar clinical setting is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with medical administrative tools and technology (experience with OhMD is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage patient inquiries and provider coordination
  • Ability to handle around 300 cases per week
  • Can work gracefully under pressure
  • Flexibility with overtime or weekend shifts
