We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Front & Back Office Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing medical administrative support and assisting providers in delivering quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of customer care, be proficient in office duties, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. We are looking for someone who will bring a high level of enthusiasm, experience, and knowledge to our new and growing medical spa in Corona, CA!!

The Front & Back Office Medical Assistant Position
You will manage the patient flow between the front and back offices. You will prep the patients and assist the practitioners/technicians as needed with their treatments. You will perform other administrative, clinical, and facility tasks designed to keep the staff, practitioners, and the office running smoothly. You will also assist in documenting treatments according to the standards and practices for medical chart and clinic requirements. This includes assisting with photographic documentation for patient medical records both before and after treatments. You will help maintain an organized filing system, upkeep with all office-related duties, billing and charging clients, and other assigned duties as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS & PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical Assistant certification from an accredited educational institution.
  • A stable work history with two or more years of experience as a general medical assistant.
  • Ability to safely and effectively draw blood from patient, or phlebotomy experience is required.
  • Ability to take initiatives and be a positive team player.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow established procedures, guidelines, and instructions.
  • Effective written communication skills and Proficient computer skills is required.
  • Ability to provide creative input, and possess the motivation and desire to help grow the practice/business.
  • Self-starter, who can multi-task and prioritize in a demanding environment.
  • High level of sanitation and cleanliness is a must.
  • Bilingual Spanish speaker is a plus, but not required.
  • Social Media marketing skills is a plus, but not required.

Other Duties:

  • Assist with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, allergies, and current medications.
  • Provide support to patients by answering questions, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns.
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary supplies
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and managing patient flow
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing medical records, coding procedures, and processing insurance claims
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
