Job Title: Medical Assistant - Cardiology
Department: SCHC

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated, Mandarin-speaking Medical Assistant to join our cardiology practice with clinics in City of Industry. This position will assist our healthcare staff in providing exceptional specialty care for a high volume of patients.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing clinical and administrative duties under the direction of a physician
  • Clinical duties may include measuring vital signs, performing EKGs, hooking up heart monitors, and performing medication reconciliations
  • Administrative duties may include insurance eligibility verification, medical report transcription, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and other clerical duties
  • Advanced clinical opportunities include work as a stress technician, EKG interpreter, patient liaison, and supervisor.


Qualifications:

  • FLUENT IN MANDARIN
  • One or more years of experience working as a Medical Assistant
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency with computers and EMR systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Prior cardiology experience
  • Cantonese fluency is a plus
