Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary skills to assist medical professionals in providing quality healthcare services.
Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information on healthcare procedures
- Maintain medical supplies and equipment inventory
Skills:
- Experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is preferred
- Proficient in patient care techniques and vital signs monitoring
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Ability to administer inhalation treatments
- Basic coding knowledge is a plus
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
