Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring that patients receive high-quality care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to perform essential clinical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations.
• Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Perform EKGs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Perform basic life support (BLS) when necessary.
• Assist with the management of patient flow within the clinic setting.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
• Obtain insurance authorizations for office visits and tests.

Experience

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential.
• Previous experience in similar healthcare environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with vital signs assessment techniques is required.
• Basic life support certification is mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
