Medical Assistant – Aesthetics & Functional Medicine

About Us

Enhance Aesthetics is a luxury medspa and wellness practice offering cutting-edge aesthetic treatments, hormone optimization, and functional medicine programs. Our mission is to provide personalized, results-driven care while creating an elevated patient experience in a warm, professional environment.

We are a growing team that values collaboration, attention to detail, and compassion. If you’re looking to expand your skills in both aesthetics and wellness medicine while working in a supportive, patient-centered clinic, we’d love to meet you.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in a hybrid front-office/back-office role. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll assist with both aesthetics and functional medicine patients—supporting providers during treatments, managing clinical flow, and ensuring patients feel cared for at every step. Bonus points if you have social media or content creation experience and enjoy helping us share our mission with a wider audience.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Patient Care

  • Welcome patients, assist with intake, vitals, and photography.
  • Prepare and organize treatment rooms before and after appointments.
  • Support providers during procedures (aesthetic treatments, labs, IVs, injections).
  • Maintain clean, sterile instruments and adhere to infection control protocols.
  • Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and lab specimen collection (training available if needed).
  • Assist with functional medicine visits, including supplement prep, protocol review, and follow-up instructions.

Front & Back Office Support

  • Check patients in/out, schedule appointments, and manage payments.
  • Answer phones and patient messages with professionalism and warmth.
  • Update and maintain EMR documentation accurately.
  • Manage inventory of medical, skincare, and wellness supplies; place orders as needed.
  • Support clinic operations by scanning, filing, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Practice Growth & Social Media (Bonus)

  • Assist with behind-the-scenes photography/video for marketing and patient education.
  • Support team with creating engaging, compliant social media content.
  • Share ideas to promote patient engagement and brand awareness.

Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant certification (preferred) or equivalent clinical experience.
  • 1–2 years experience in a med spa, dermatology, wellness, or functional medicine clinic (preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional, polished demeanor with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a busy, patient-focused environment.
  • Tech-savvy; comfortable with EMRs, Mac/PC, and basic content creation (Canva, Instagram, TikTok experience a plus).

As we review applications, you're welcome to reach out about details in your work or education history you'd like us to consider, such as transferable skills and experience. If you’re passionate about both inner wellness and outer beauty—and eager to help clients feel their best—we want to hear from you!
