We are a small private pediatric office in need of an experienced back office medical assistant who can comfortably cross train for front office responsibilities to accommodate our growing practice. Candidate must have:

• Clinical Medical Assistant certificate with minimum 1 year experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Solid knowledge of back office duties
• Knowledge of electronic health record
• Kind and compassionate attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow within the organization

Candidate must have skills to perform daily duties of:

• Administering vaccines to all ages
• Hearing and vision screens for appropriate ages
• Measurements for infants to teens (height, weight, head, B/P, O2, temp)
• Ear Lavages
• Perform test on urine and finger stick specimens
• Nebulizer treatments
• Relay messages from providers to patients
• Clean exam rooms after each visit and keep work space tidy

This position is for 24-32 hours a week with work hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday to Friday. No weekends or evening responsibilities.
